Q: "Why were you so excited and anxious to get Halo Couture in our salon?"

 A: "I love the look of fusion extensions, but [not the] price tag of $700+... Oftentimes I would have guests inquire if I could do the service for a lower dollar amount and I would always tell them no, because with fusion

• it is very labor intensive (about a 2.5-3 hour service), 
• and just the [extension] hair itself is costly.   

The only way for me to lower the cost of my fusion service would be to use cheaper hair, and this isn’t something I am willing to do...  That sure isn’t good for [anyone]!  So I started looking for a more affordable solution that still provided the look of fusion without sacrificing the quality of the hair."

  


Q: "Why is it important for clients to come to Scott Talbot's to get fitted?"
 A: "A properly fitted halo is key to ensure comfort for the guest. The halo is:

• Customized for each guest’s head shape   
• Worn anywhere between 1-3 inches from the front hairline
• Sits near the top of the ears and rests just below the occipital bone in the back.   

When a halo is properly fitted, the guest shouldn’t really even be able to feel it in their hair! No clips or anything that damage the hair, just Halo Couture’s amazing miracle wire. A fitting only takes a few minutes.
 
Q: "How will clients take care of their new Halo Couture?"

 A: " Because the Halo does not come into direct contact with the oils on the scalp it:

• Only needs washed a few times a year! 
• It must be washed with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner (like Pureology), 
• Combed with an oil based product or serum (Moroccan Oil is great), and then air-dried.   

The hair holds the style very well and does not require styling aids like sprays, etc.  Halos are made of Remy hair, which is the highest quality of human hair available.  Because it is real hair, it can be colored (but not lightened) if necessary. *When properly cared for, a halo should lasts for years."

*Since it is real hair, it does need to be treated as such! It will still burn if a hot tool is held on it for too long, and will need occasional trims. 

Q: "Is there anything else you would like add?"

A: " ...[Halos] can easily be removed to sleep, swim, workout, etc... they are easy to style without additional drying  time that a fusion extension would require & can be curled/ flat-ironed prior to wear.

Each halo only weighs ¼ of a pound, and the miracle wire can take 10 pounds of weight.  It fits comfortably on the head so that the guest can move about just as if it were her own hair. Halos can be stacked for more layered looks or extreme fullness, and up to three may be worn at a time.  They are available in 12, 16, 20, and 24 inches.

The process for getting started is simple.

• The guest first comes in for a color match & this only takes a minute! 
• If there isn’t an exact color match, we will custom color their halo at the cost of a color service. 
• The guest is asked to put down a 50 % deposit plus an additional $15 for their shipping fee.   
• Halo Couture ships via UPS and takes 5-7 days.  
• Once the Halo arrives, another appointment is made, lasting approximately 30-45 minutes where the halo is fitted and styled.  
• If a haircut is required for blending, that is done at this time as well."
