Words have POWER!!

The best part of being a Beauty & Spa service provider
is helping others realize
or rediscover their natural beauty.
Beauty that perhaps they have forgotten or never believed they possessed.

Most times it is because someone
once told them something
that was so critical
that it damaged their view of themselves

Our most important job is helping clients discover their natural beauty, beauty we all ready recognize, and enhance it to it's fullest potential. As simple as that is, when you feel good about yourself, you project a message of importance, of worth. The opposite is true when you don't, that message is one we love helping others erase.

"My heart would break every time I would take a client back to the spa area to perform a eye brow waxing- I would say something like, "You have amazing eyes, let's open them up more by removing a few hairs here..." Or something completely true like that-  I wasn't "gilding the lily", I am not good at false flattery I sound like a snake oil sales man. I genuinely meant whatever it was I said.

Nearly 7 times out of 10 the client would say incredulously, "REALLY? You think so?" Something so seemingly insignificant can mean the world to someone who has never believed they possessed beauty &/or was picked on because of a certain feature that brings them the most compliments later in life..." Elisa Bozescu-Phillips- 20+ years in the beauty industry

Think of:
  • Tyra Banks....
"She was made fun of because of her big head, long neck, and bulging eyes- all that makes her an amazing model"

  • Gisele Bündchen...
"...I'll never forget the day when a woman came up to me and said, 'No, you could never be on a magazine cover. Your face features don't work; your eyes are small, you have a small face but a big nose.' I was only 14 and I had never noticed any of that stuff, you know?

  • Mila Kunis....
" ...As a child, Kunis would come home crying from school, because the other kids would make fun of her for having such big features. Her eyes were always pointed out as being really big."

  • Michael Phelps :
"... The swimmer would often get bullied for his ears which poked out, his lanky body, and lisp."
