4 Easy Steps to Applying the Perfect Lip Liner!

The perfect Brightly colored pouty lips begin with precisely applied lip liner! 

Below are 4 easy steps, master these and you will be wearing the newest trend like a runway model!!

Before you begin, as with any artist, start with a clean canvas- be sure your lips are smooth & hydrated but not wet to the touch.

 

 

• 1) To apply lip liner with PRECISION: Draw your Cupid's bow (The "V" part of your lip)
• drawing upward.

If you want a slightly larger lip, but not cartoon'ish, stay as close to the natural lip line as possible only drawing slightly over the natural lip line.

 

• 2) Lightly draw a line from corner of mouth UP to tip of cupids bow, then repeat on opposite side.  

NEVER do this in one movement, you will always end up with uneven lips- it's just a natural tendency.

• 3) Start from one side of lower lip and stop in center, and then from opposite side- connect lines in center.

 

•  4)Using the side of your lip pencil and fill in entire lip area on top.  

• Leaving the center of lower lip bare, will create "pouty" and sensuous lips. 

Apply chosen lip color in matte finish over entire lip area for ultimate wear. A dab of a shimmery color applied only to the middle of the lower lip will enhance the "pouty" lip effect you created with the liner.
